Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Omego.tv. By using the service you agree to them, so please read them.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Omego.tv (the "service") you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity that happens through your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Do not share your account or use someone else's. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
4. Acceptable use
When using Omego, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, or abuse other people, including hosts;
- share content that is illegal, or that involves minors in any way;
- record, capture, or redistribute another person's video, voice, or messages without their consent;
- impersonate others, or attempt to defraud, spam, or scam anyone;
- interfere with, probe, or try to break the security of the service.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Conversations between people
Omego connects you with real people. Conversations are between you and the other participant; treat them with the same respect you would in person. You decide when to turn on a camera or microphone, and you can mute, block, or leave at any time.
6. Credits, membership and payments
Some features require credits, which you can buy through a third-party payment processor. Credits are bought once and used within the service, and nothing renews automatically. Prices, and the cost of a feature, are shown before you use it.
We also offer a membership that runs for a fixed period (currently 30 days) and includes a bundle of credits and allowances. A membership is a one-time purchase for that period — it does not renew automatically and you will not be charged again unless you buy it again. When the period ends, the membership benefits stop.
Except where required by law, purchases of credits and memberships are non-refundable, including for unused credits or unused days of a membership. Any payment dispute is handled through your payment provider under their process.
7. Content and intellectual property
The Omego.tv name, app, and design are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. You keep ownership of content you create, and you grant us the limited permission needed to operate the service (for example, to transmit your messages and video to the person you are talking to).
8. Moderation and termination
We may moderate the service and may suspend or terminate access at any time if these terms are broken or if we need to protect users or the platform. You can stop using the service at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular conversation will meet your expectations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Omego.tv is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

If something has gone wrong — a charge you do not recognise, a conversation that broke the rules, an account you cannot get into — write to us first. Most problems are sorted out faster by email than by any formal process, and we would rather hear about it than not.
